👨‍💻 About the role

KanEL is seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Associate to join our team, where you'll have the unique opportunity to shape and elevate our operational execution and strategy from the ground up. This role is ideal for a hands-on operative who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and is excited about making a significant impact in the green energy sector.

🚀 Responsibilities

• Be the first line of support for our partners in the field working to bring our vision to life, ensuring they and our end-customers are happy and have the tools they need to be successful.
• Use AI and other innovative tools to automate processes, optimize workflows, fix recurring operational issues and improve our ways of working.
• Act as the bridge between Operations and Product by providing user and operational insights.
• Help develop and maintain operational metrics and dashboards.
• Take a key role in executing Operations strategy and enabling our scaling plans.

🔍 Who you are

To excel in this role, you will be:

• A recent graduate (0-3 years of experience) with a degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• An excellent communicator with a passion to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• A quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to “get your hands dirty” where needed to make sure things get done, including travelling to customer sites, suppliers and logistics partners.
• A self-starter with a proactive attitude, results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
• Fully fluent in Swedish and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment.
• Experience of customer service.
• Knowledge of the renewable energy sector.
• Finnish language skills.
• Experience working with AI (e.g. prompting).
